Durapex is an injectable steroid that contains 100 mg per ML of the hormone Nandrolone Phenylpropionate.

Durapex 100 is an injectable variant of the anabolic steroid Nandrolone. Its characteristics are quite similar to those of Deca Durabolin, which utilizes the slower-acting Nandrolone Decanoate. The main distinction between these two forms is the duration of Nandrolone's release into the bloodstream. Nandrolone Decanoate releases the hormone from the injection site for about 3 weeks, while Nandrolone Phenylpropionate remains active for roughly a week.

Durapex 100 acts quickly, allowing for the compound to clear the body much faster. This quality makes it a preferable option over Deca for bodybuilders and athletes subject to drug testing. Users typically adhere to a regimen of administering Durapex 100 every other day to maintain stable and elevated blood levels. Due to this aspect, Durapex 100 has recently gained more popularity than Deca for cutting cycles.

Durapex appears to cause less water retention compared to its longer-acting counterparts, which aligns with injectable testosterone behaviors, where shorter esters result in significantly less water retention.

Durapex is a progestin, similar to any derivative of Nandrolone. However, despite being a progestin, Nandrolone (regardless of its ester) tends to produce minimal estrogenic side effects. Thus, any side effects related to Durapex would more accurately be described as progestenic, since it converts to estrogen at approximately 20% of testosterone's rate.

Regardless of the ester used, all features characteristic of a type of Nandrolone are also present in others. Durapex, likely due to its progestenic properties, has the potential to enhance collagen synthesis and bone mineral content. This offers significant advantages to athletes dealing with connective tissue or joint issues; however, drug-tested athletes should avoid Nandrolones because they can be detected in urine for up to a year to 18 months post-administration. Additionally, being a progestin (with some estrogenic capability), it likely offers beneficial effects on immune-mediated anti-inflammatory processes, aiding in soothing and healing joints.
